Join a ranger to count the birds in our backyard for the nationwide program Great Backyard Bird Count. This is your chance to be a citizen scientist for the day!

Hammocks Beach is a great location to see several bird species, from the ones that hide in the woods to those that swim our waters. Different groups will set out and count the various birds in the woods, along the shore, as well as the ones at our bird feeders. We have binoculars and field guides to use however bring your own if you have them!
